The Baptist Newborn Intensive Care Unit — When complications occur during pregnancy or childbirth, parents turn to the 40-bed Baptist Newborn Intensive Care Unit. With access to sophisticated diagnostic and monitoring equipment, the unit’s experienced team treats more than 600 babies each year who are born prematurely or with complications.
